BLACKHOLE

A mobile app that uses smart AI filters to clean up email fluff and organize inbox. My client wanted to bring one of their core services features to mobile in a form of user-friendly and engaging app.

CHALLENGE

Professionals often deal with lots of mail, which can result in loss of focus and work performance. SaneBox is a company known for smart email management and so the challenge was to bring the same experience to mobile for the first time. The goal was a functional, visually polished app to help users engage only with content that matters to them.

SOLUTION

I designed the mobile app by focusing on two core features: data dashboard and newsletter training function. The second one can be used with either a multi-select list or a Tinder-like card system. I went for a clean, minimal aesthetic inspired by outer space. The client is very satisfied with the result and plans to move all of the SaneBox’s services into unified mobile experience.

MY ROLE

I led the product design for the app and built the design system for it. I also ran design workshops and handled branding.
