Next Stop Earth

Next Stop Earth is a custom Mapbox-based app designed to help travelers discover curated points of interest around the world. The goal of the platform was to make it easy to explore Earth and help users plan their trips.

CHALLENGE

This app was a passion project for our Client, so the main challenge was to align his vision with our skills. We provided product design and branding from scratch. The goal was to create an engaging platform, make use of custom Mapbox features and add monetization - in form of dynamic ads and commercial POI’s.

SOLUTION

We built a responsive web app with key features like: complex search and filtering system, dynamic POI markers and an “Explore” section with destination collections. Client was thrilled with the result and is currently filling the platform with content and searching for more investors.

MY ROLE

I led the UX design for the app, ran discovery workshops and supported the UI design phase and design system work.
